Robert Harvey

Robert Harvey joined the Miltner Law Group in the summer of 2007. With 18 years of legal experience, Mr. Harvey brings a diverse background of experience in many areas of the law. Mr. Harvey began his career with clerkships for an insurance defense firm, the Office of the Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service, and as a certified legal intern at the San Diego District Attorney’s office.

Mr. Harvey graduated with honors from California Western School of Law in 1991 and started his own firm where he practiced in the areas of Bankruptcy, Personal Injury, Family, Entertainment and Criminal Law. Mr. Harvey gained substantial experience by handling all aspects of the litigation from inception through trial.

Several years later, Mr. Harvey associated with a small firm where he practiced business and commercial litigation, handled contract disputes, litigated insurance coverage claims and handled various partnership related transactional and litigation matters.

After receiving his real estate sales license from the State of Texas and selling high end residential real estate in a suburb of Austin from 1998-2000, Mr. Harvey returned to California to join a small firm specializing in the defense of real estate agents and brokers under their errors and omissions policy. Mr. Harvey expanded his practice to include all aspects of real estate litigation representing both plaintiffs and defendants, including litigating multiple fraudulent conveyance and elder abuse claims. Mr. Harvey obtained his California Real Estate Brokers license in 2006.

Currently, Mr. Harvey is handling title insurance matters including mechanic’s lien claims and stop notices, escrow disputes, construction litigation, easements and employment law matters.
